Chief Creative Officer | DDB Group Germany

After being a copywriter at Jung von Matt, one of Germany's most acclaimed independent agencies, Dennis May joined DDB in 2006. In 2017 he became Chief Creative Officer of DDB Germany, leading his team to become Agency of the year in 2019. The same year the agency took home the first Cannes Titanium Lion ever in the history of German advertising.

May was in charge of several multiple award-winning pieces by DDB such as Stabilo’s “Highlight the Remarkable”, “Move On” for Deutsche Telekom, “The universal typeface” for BIC, RSFs “The Uncensored Playlist”, and many more. When he’s not at the office (and when there’s no global pandemic), he can be found in the audience of a rock concert somewhere in Europe.
