Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer | NBC's "Songland"

Shane McAnally is a three-time Grammy Award-winning songwriter/producer with over 40 #1 country records and two-time ACM Songwriter of the Year.

McAnally co-produced Kacey Musgraves’ 2012 debut album, “Same Trailer Different Park,” which earned him the Grammy for Best Country Album. In 2016, McAnally produced “Forever Country,” to commemorate the CMA’s 50th anniversary celebration, which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.

McAnally earned a 5x-platinum #1 with “Body Like a Back Road,” making history as the longest-reigning #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Song chart by a solo artist.

Last year McAnally announced his co-presidency of Monument Records. He earned his latest #1 song with Old Dominion’s “Hotel Key” and was named to Billboard’s 2018 Country Powers Players list. Also co-wrote Kacey Musgraves’ “Space Cowboy,” which recently won Best Country Song at the Grammys.
